A Few Thoughts on the Final Day of 2015

We have all fought our own personal battles.  Never discount another humans struggle.  You don’t know their path.

Kindness really IS a thing; even from strangers.

Not everyone is going to share your opinion.  Observe, listen and always come to your own conclusion, logically and with reason.

Not everyone has the best of intentions in the way they interact and treat you.  That’s okay.  It’s how you react to a given situation that will teach you the best lesson.

People will come and go from your life.  If they’re going, it’s probably for the best.  Cherish the ones that choose to stay.

A brother can be a girls best friend, most trusted confidante, therapist and cheerleader.

You can’t change who you share DNA with.  That’s your family.  But you CAN add to it.  Those are the ones who share your heart.

Never pass up the chance to make new friends.

Sometimes people die.  It doesn’t mean you have to die with them.

Treat people with dignity and respect, until such a time as they prove themselves unworthy.  Then do it because it’s what is best for you as a human being.

Forgive people, but don’t forget.  Some are mistakes you don’t want to repeat.

Never pass up the chance to learn something new.  This is how we grow and better ourselves.

Never pass up the chance to teach someone something new, if they have the drive to learn.

Laugh..  Every chance you get.

Spend time with the people you love.

And perhaps the most important one:

Never pass up the opportunity to be kind to someone.  You never know what wonderful things they will bring into your life.

May we all strive to be better human beings in the coming year.

Just be good.  The world will follow.
